March 1, 2010 - 8:09 am Abel Longoria - Thanks Andres! The past couple of months have been the off season for concerts but it's starting to pick back up. What better way to start off the new season than with Jay-Z. It was a great show, well what I saw of it anyways, I didn't stick around for the whole thing. I process all of my photos in Lightroom 2 then dump them into Photoshop CS4 for resizing, logo placement and sharpening. Nothing I post is straight out of the camera. There's always tweak in regards to WB, Exposure, Vibrance, Saturation, Contrast etc.

I know I have many more photogs visit my blog than non-photogs so I like to include the EXIF data on my shots for others to see. September 22, 2009 - 11:38 am Mark C. Austin - Passed on an opportunity to be the tour photog for Green Day's most recent tour. The pay was going to be great, but only for 2 months and they wanted to restrict my access. I passed. I think it'd be fun if I didnt have a mortgage. I got my start touring with Kings of Leon. It was cool, but didnt pay crap. Literally got my first camera on a Friday and by Sunday was on tour with the Kings. Wildness. Been hooked ever since.

Congrats on that gig! yea having restricted access kinda defeats the purpose of being a tour photographer. hehe. That does sound like a great opportunity indeed though. I wish I could say that would have been something I would have turned down as well but its tough to say. I would have had to hear them out and then make a decision.. =] I would love to do a long term 6-8 month tour.. the travel and such would be awesome. I do have a mortgage to tend to but no wife or girlfriend and/or kids to worry about so now is as good a time as any for me to entertain something like that.
