San Francisco – Part Deux

I decided to get up eary and hit a few more spots before catching my plane to head back home to Houston. My main goal was to get out and shoot some more shots with my newly Infrared converted Canon G9 point and shoot camera.

My first stop was The Palace of Fine Arts… you know the place with the “little gazebo thingy”. Ok in all fairness that thing is HUGE…. you just can’t get a sense of scale by seeing a photo, you just have to see it for yourself.

San Francisco

I traveled to San Francisco to meet some fellow photographers from CaliforniaPhotoForum.com and we spent the entire day traveling all over the city photographing just about anything and everything! It was a blast!

The last stop of the day was to shoot the Golden Gate Bridge at sunset from a pier at Fort Baker. Ok, so rewind… a few days before while I was packing for the trip I decided to NOT pack my tripod… ok that will never happen again. Ugh! Fortunately my friend Alan was kind enough to let me snap off a few shots of my own using his tripod, Thank Alan I still owe you bigtime!
